Philip Scott

Kildare singer, Piano player, Philip Scott, lead singer/keyboards in Undercover, has been in the music industry for the past 20 years and is well known as the former front-man and writer for the very popular and successful original band “Dancing Back to Scratch”. He has toured with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, co-written with Andrew Strong of The Commitments and Mickey Harte of You’re a Star fame.  He continues to write his own lyrics and music and recorded most recently in Windmill Lane Studios and was produced by Larry Mullen of U2 and well-known producer Chris Martin.  He fronted popular band After Dark for two years before Undercover was formed.  He has toured extensively in Ireland, England, France and Scotland.

Ray Butler

Naas musician, Ray Butler is on lead guitar and vocals and is also the musical director of Undercover.  He has worked previously with Jerry Lee Lewis, Dickie Rock, Linda Martin and The Kaye Twins, 7th Heaven, among others.  In the eighties, he was front man with the original band SHADOWFAX.  For 5 years, he was an integral part of the successful band AFTER DARK. He was lead guitarist and vocalist with VEGAS NIGHTS until recently.  He writes and produces music in his own studio for other artists and has written and produced music for corporate videos. He now also compiles the music programmes and programmes the lights used by the band for live performances.  He has had many live radio and TV performances on RTE and BBC and toured in Canada, USA, Portugal, Lebanon, Israel and the UK with various artistes.

Vicky Cahill

Professional singer Vicky Cahill, from Newbridge is a valuable new addition to Undercover, allowing the band to expand their repetoire even more.  She has been performing  and writing songs from an early age.  Throughout her career, Vicky has made numerous television appearances and spent time in the recording studio.  She has won many talent competitions and won the first ever Kildare Pop Superstars in 2004.  Over her career, Vicky has performed as lead vocalist in well-known bands such including “State of Affairs”, “Cactus Moon”, and popular band “Atlantis” and has performed in many national and international venues.  Just recently she enjoyed the experience of working alongside many talented musicians as a vocalist with “Le Tabhair le Cheile Big Band”.
